Their market-leading Employment, Pensions, and Immigration team advises employers across the UK on all aspects of employment, pensions, and immigration law. Their clients include some of the UK’s largest and most well-known employers.
The candidate will be based at the Liverpool office (2 days in the office).
As an Employment Lawyer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing a mixed caseload of employment-related work, including:
* Providing employment law advice to a diverse range of clients, covering unfair dismissal, disciplinary issues, grievances, whistleblowing, discrimination, detriment claims, and equal pay.
* Offering industrial relations advice.
* Dealing with employment tribunal claims.
* Supervising and managing team members' caseloads as appropriate.
* Drafting and preparing documents, tribunal responses, bundles, witness statements, and reports.
* Drafting articles and legal updates.
* Assisting with business development initiatives, including training and networking.
* Producing monthly and ad-hoc client MI reports.
* Working in accordance with client and internal SLAs.
* Aligning work with Weightmans’ values and procedures.
* Achieving set financial and chargeable targets.
