Join Our Team
Our people are our passion and the driving force behind our achievements. We are looking for an enthusiastic Tool Hire Controller to join our friendly team at the Chesterfield depot.
Responsibilities
1. Work in accordance with all company systems, policies, and procedures to support effective management and monitoring of hire desk activities, while meeting performance targets and customer expectations.
2. Assist with setting up new hire contracts following company policies.
3. Support the creation of quotes within specified parameters.
4. Negotiate costs for hire within given parameters.
5. Respond to all calls and emails in line with service level expectations.
6. Resolve questions and queries promptly and in line with service agreements.
7. Identify and flag risks or issues to the Hire Manager or Depot Manager.
8. Ensure all systems and records are accurate and up-to-date.
9. Liaise with the Accounts Team to handle customer account queries efficiently.
10. Coordinate with workshop colleagues to manage resources effectively.
11. Work closely with the transport team to meet deadlines and expectations.
12. Ensure tools are presented according to company standards.
13. Source tools not available in the depot to meet hire requirements.
14. Provide management information and reports as needed.
Customer Relationships & Account Management
1. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact.
2. Utilize and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system regularly.
3. Develop relationships with providers, partners, and suppliers.
4. Offer guidance and support to customers regarding products and services.
5. Maintain knowledge of customers’ businesses, operations, and objectives.
6. Collaborate closely with the Sales Team.
