Site Engineer – CP7 Geotechnical & Drainage Framework (Rail) Location: Near Bristol (Wales & Western Region) Sector: Rail / Civil Engineering / Geotechnical / Drainage Job Type: Full-time / Long-term Framework Role Overview An experienced Site Engineer is required to support the delivery of geotechnical and off-track drainage works as part of a major CP7 rail framework across the Wales & Western region. This is a long-term infrastructure programme offering the opportunity to work on critical rail projects near Bristol. The successful candidate will play a key role in site delivery, setting out, quality assurance, health & safety compliance, and coordination of site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. Key Responsibilities * Carry out accurate setting out using GPS, laser levels, and total stations * Interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements * Support implementation and maintenance of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) * Conduct site inspections, enforce hold points, and complete QA documentation * Ensure works comply with required quality standards and engineering specifications * Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, and material deliveries on site * Monitor progress and report delays, risks, or site issues to project teams * Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and Permit to Work sy...
