We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional Italian pub dinning experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for cooking, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in menu development, team management, and ensuring that our restaurant maintains its reputation for excellence in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
* Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
* Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
* Experience in stone baked pizza
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen at all times.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food presentation, and safety practices.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Handle any issues or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.
Skills
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
* Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
* Excellent culinary skills with a deep understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen.
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
