Our client, a growing accountancy practice that provides a broad range of accounting and business support services is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper / Management Accounts candidate to join their team. The ideal individual will have strong interpersonal skills and will work well in a small friendly team environment. An increased salary will be considered if candidates have had previous management account experience within a practice environment. £25,000 - £30,000 with accounts assistant experience £30,000 - £37,000 with management accounts experience Working hours Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week Hybrid working after training period (3 days office / 2 days from home) 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (increases by 1 day every year) CPD Gym membership Free parking Duties and responsibilities: Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software Reconciliation of bank and credit card transactions Making supplier and payroll payments VAT returns Bookkeeping duties Develop working relationships with clients Take on additional projects / responsibilities as directed Additional duties of management accounts for those experienced within this area Skills and experience required: ACCA / CIMA / QBE or studying AAT Understanding of Xero & Dext desirable and Microsoft Excel Previous experience of working within an accountancy practice working on multiple clients Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Ability to work effectively within a team environment Key attention to detail
