We have an opportunity within our Icebird Bakery Department for a Bakery Mixer.
The roles are permanent full time positions working Monday to Friday 13.30 – 21.30.
The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of manufacturing within the Bakery department.
An overview of the role below:
1. Responsible for the production of dough
2. Manual usage of the bakery equipment
3. Operating the bakery mixers, flour silos and various production machinery
4. Carrying out 1st line maintenance and/or repairs on production machinery
5. Ensuring accurate quantity of ingredients and the correct recipes are followed
6. Responsible for designated critical control points
7. Maintain and improve housekeeping and good manufacturing process
8. Responsible for carrying out checks and paperwork
9. Escalate any issues and/or errors to the Line Leader and/or Team Leader
10. Other adhoc bakery related tasks
11. Adhere to the company’s H&S policies and procedures
12. Adhere to the company’s Hygiene policies and procedures.
Ideally candidates will have experience working within a similar role; food and/or production experience is preferred however not essential.
Mixing or machinery experience would be desired.
The successful candidate(s) will have good communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
