Im working with a fantastic PRU in Erdington seeking passionate SEMH Teachers. The centre supports students aged 11-16 with challenging behaviour, offering high-quality, personalised teaching. This full-time role runs until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons focused on mental health, social-emotional skills, and overall wellbeing.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where pupils can thrive.
* Recognise and address the social, emotional, and mental health needs of pupils.
* Work closely with counsellors, parents, and staff to provide tailored support.
* Assess pupils progress through activities, discussions, and feedback.

Requirements
* Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
* PECS and Makaton training/experience
* SEMH, SEBD needs experience
* Level 1 safeguarding certificate
* Recent school based references
* Valid Photo ID riving Licence or passport
* Full DBS – on the update service
