About Us:
Eboracum Energy Studio Ltd is a specialist solar, battery and EV charging installer based in York. We focus on high-quality, design-led domestic installations, using advanced hardware and a premium service approach.
As we build our 2026 installation schedule, we're looking to expand our network of experienced PV roof installation teams.
Role Overview:
We are seeking skilled PV mounting installers (individuals or 2–3 person teams) to complete the roof-side installation of domestic solar systems.
Electrical work is handled by our own electricians, this role is purely mounting panels, rails and roof fixings etc.
Responsibilities:
* Install roof anchors, rails and PV modules to manufacturer specifications
* Work confidently on pan tile and slate roofs
* Handle chimneys, dormers and shaded layouts correctly
* Run DC cabling neatly to the inverter/battery location
* Work safely with scaffolding and follow site procedures
* Communicate with our electrician to ensure smooth handover
* Maintain a tidy, respectful presence on customer sites
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in PV mounting (minimum 20+ installations preferred)
* Ability to complete a standard panel job in good time, but with an emphasis on quality
* Competency with Renusol systems
* Experience running and securing DC solar cabling neatly and safely
* Confident on slate, tiled and mixed-material roofs
* Reliable, organised, and professional on domestic properties
* Own tools, transport and public liability insurance
* Teams of 2 are ideal, but solo installers considered
