Social Housing Repairs
Permanent position based in Bedford.
We are a leading social housing contractor looking for Maintenance Electricians to carry out rewires, maintenance, and remedial work on occupied domestic properties and voids across the Bedford area.
This mobile role involves traveling to domestic housing association properties for preventative & reactive maintenance, and remedial work. Tasks include immersion heaters, fans, showers, security lighting, communal lights, domestic electrics, and completing minor works certificates, inspections, testing, and remedial work on exchanges and voids.

Responsibilities
* Rewire and maintain domestic electrical installations in occupied social housing properties.
* Perform preventative and reactive maintenance including immersion heaters, fans, showers, security lighting, communal lights, and domestic electrics.
* Complete minor works certificates and inspection reports.
* Conduct testing and remedial work on electrical exchanges and voids.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent (Essential)
* 18th edition (essential)
* ECS Gold Card or working towards
* Full UK Driving License
* Experience in a similar role
* Good Communication skills
* At least 2 years experience working for Social Housing Contractor or Local Authority on domestic electrical repairs contracts (desirable)

* Salary £40,000
