We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will support cutting‑edge single‑cell sequencing workflows, working with advanced technologies and contributing to high‑impact scientific projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out single‑cell sequencing experiments, including sample preparation and single‑cell capture
* Ensure accurate and timely documentation of experimental procedures and results
* Follow SOPs and laboratory safety standards to maintain a compliant working environment
* Operate laboratory instruments such as centrifuges and 10x Genomics platforms
* Support day‑to‑day laboratory operations and general tasks
* Communicate progress, issues, and results clearly with the team
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biology or a related field
* Hands‑on laboratory experience, with a solid understanding of cell biology
* Experience in fresh tissue/sample dissociation is highly desirable
* Exposure to single‑cell sequencing workflows (preferred but not essential)
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* Proactive, organised, and able to manage tasks independently
* Willingness to travel internationally (short‑term training in China if required)
