The Job:
Are you an experienced Farm Management Consultant looking for a new opportunity to help shape the future of farming and rural businesses? This role offers a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on involvement, supporting farm businesses to grow, adapt, and thrive in an evolving landscape.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing Contract Farming Agreements
- Conducting farm assessments and business reviews
- Advising on cropping and livestock systems
- Delivering agri-environment schemes and sourcing rural funding
- Creating business plans, budgets, and financial forecasts
- Supporting sustainable and regenerative farming practices
- Advising on risk, resilience, and compliance
- Building relationships with clients and contributing to business development

The Candidate:
- Strong knowledge of farm business management - arable and livestock
- Practical farming experience or a relevant academic background, a degree is advantageous
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Commercially aware with a problem-solving approach
- Familiarity with rural grants and environmental schemes is a plus
