Contract Product Design Engineer
Contract Length: Initial 6 months - with potential for extension.
Start: ASAP
Rate: Dependent on Experience
IR35: Outside IR35
CAD: AutoDesk Inventor
Location: East Midlands - In office 5 days a week
Hours: 37.5h or part‑time opportunities for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Helping develop new products from concept through to manufacture
* Product design and development
* Mechanical design and CAD modelling
* Prototype development and testing
* Supporting multiple innovation projects
* Working closely with senior engineering specialists
Key Requirements:
* Mechanical Engineering background
* Product Design / Design Engineering experience
* Strong Autodesk Inventor capability
* Able to work independently and take ownership of projects
