This permanent post is for the Director of Human Resources, Organisational Development and Occupational Health & Safety and is based in the NHS Borders, Headquarters on the Borders General Hospital site.
Responsibilities
* This post is key to providing high quality confidential administrative and business support management to the Director of HR, OD & OH&S linking with the wider organisation, managing competing demands and undertaking a range of delegated projects for the Director.
* Assist with prioritisation of the Director’s incoming workload; triaging emails and highlighting priorities; diary management; working collaboratively with other Board Executive Team PAs; proactively managing and actioning a broad range of complex tasks including ensuring relevant follow up action is taken; keeping track of daily actions and priorities for the Director and pre-empting their needs and deadlines.
* Organise meetings, issue agendas and papers, the production of formal minutes and action notes and follow up of actions between meetings; preparing internal/external correspondence, papers and presentations in a timely and accurate manner; providing admin support to the Whistleblowing function.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication and organisational skills together with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and O365.
