About The Role
As a HR Assistant at Wren, you will be a key member of the Head Office and Transport HR team. The team pride themselves in the provision and delivery of a high quality and business aligned HR service. You'll be an integral part of team, supporting both the HR Advisors and yet adopting a case load and projects of your own. This position will be based at our Head Office at Barton-upon-Humber. It is a fixed-term contract for 6 months.

Main Responsibilities
* Support and provision of an operationally excellent HR support and responsible for smooth and effective workflows
* Maintenance and interrogation of HR systems and databases
* Under the guidance of the HR Advisors, provision of comprehensive written and verbal
* Employee Relations advice covering a broad spectrum of cases, including long term sick and occupational health
* Creation and distribution of weekly/monthly reports within the team
* Supporting and partnering with the wider People team with key HR programs and projects
* Provision of administrative support including case note taking duties for HR Advisors & HRBPs when required
* Maintaining, updating relevant paperwork and other ad hoc HR duties
About You
Desired Skills & Knowledge
* Good knowledge of HR and HR related procedures
* Strong communicator both verbally and in writing
* Ability to influence and constructively challenge
* Strong administrative skills
* Experience in collating and producing reports – including a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Accuracy/ Attention to detail
* Basic knowledge of UK employment law
* Previous experience in either a HR related role
