Agency Sales Manager Contract: Full Time Salary: £29,000 - £33,500 per annum up to 25% bonus opportunity Location: Manchester (Hybrid) GIG Retail is in an exciting period of growth. As we scale up, we’re looking for an ambitious, self-starting Agency Sales Manager to help us make even more noise across the retail media landscape specifically in the London area. We’re after a go-getter - someone hungry to build relationships, passionate about retail media, and ready to immerse themselves in the agency scene. From time in London agencies to networking at conferences, this role is for someone who wants to be front and centre of the action. About the role You’ll lead and grow relationships with media agencies, OOH specialists, and brand clients - helping drive new revenue across both endemic and non-endemic sectors. You’ll work across a wide variety of campaigns and clients, with plenty of opportunity to make a real impact in a growing, high-performing team. Key responsibilities: Proactively generate new business across media agencies and OOH specialists, as well as directly with brands Represent GIG Retail in the London media scene - attending meetings, agency sessions, events and conferences Deliver compelling retail media proposals that meet client needs and hit KPIs Build a robust pipeline, consistently identifying new opportunities and turning leads into revenue Collaborate with internal teams (Creative, Ops, Insight) to shape and deliver standout campaigns Use insight and performance data to tell a strong commercial story Maintain accurate forecasts and report progress to senior stakeholders What we’re looking for: We want someone with drive, energy, and the confidence to make things happen. You'll be at home walking into a media agency, pitching to a client, and networking at an event. This role offers a lot of autonomy, so you'll need to be proactive, organised, and genuinely motivated by growth, both yours and ours. Essential skills and experience: At least 1 year in a sales, client management, or media agency-facing role A self-starter who’s comfortable working independently and at pace Confident in a face-to-face setting - you’ll regularly be out in agencies and industry events Strong presentation and communication skills Able to juggle multiple projects across a breadth of clients Comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint to build compelling client decks and manage performance Target-driven with a strong commercial mindset Desirable: Understanding of the UK media landscape (particularly OOH and retail media) Experience selling into or working within media agencies Familiarity with campaign reporting, media planning or buying systems Why join GIG?
