Our friendly and professional client based in Laindon is looking for a Service Co-ordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate for this role will be highly organised with clear and confident communication skills. Working as part of a team you will be responsible for providing first class customer service and administration support to the M&E Engineers, Clients, Suppliers and Directors. Experience in a similar service co-ordinating M&E support role is preferred. This busy and varied Service Co-ordinator role involves: - * Communicating and providing information by relevant methods internally and externally to ensure an efficient and effective service to clients in-line with their requirements. * Managing, organising and updating relevant data / Managing client portals and compliance records. * Dealing with PPM and reactive breakdown calls in a courteous and professional manner, logging information on the system and communicating with others appropriately and efficiently. * Following up on calls and communicating with clients to keep them informed of the work's progress. * Acting as a direct interface between the Engineers and the Service Manager – helping to manage and coordinate the organisation of the Engineer’s workload. * Organising the job board, assisting with labour allocation and planning of service work * Logging jobs and assisting with breakdown files, worksheets, closure of jobs and preparing information ready for invoicing. * Dealing with customer enquiries and feed-back regularly. * Be responsible for the management of a portfolio of sites and renewal of contracts with the Director. * Assisting in preparation of minor quotations as required, ordering and taking in spare parts and allocating these to the relevant job. Tracking and chasing of orders. * Update “server”, back-up and “drop box”. For the Service Co-ordinator vacancy, you will need: - * Experience in a similar M&E Service Co-ordinator role is preferred. * Lots of common sense, excellent communication skills (oral and written) and a polite and friendly approach. * To be a natural team player with strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task, work on your own initiative and motivate yourself and others within the team. * Be flexible and strive to get things right the first time. * Good numeracy skills * Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. In return for your hard work, our client is offering a salary of £26,000 - £29,000, 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) and free on-site car parking. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am -5.00pm
