At Lester Aldridge, our 40-week Placement Scheme offers aspiring legal professionals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of our practice areas. These may include Real Estate Finance, Litigation & Recoveries, Residential Property and Tax, Trusts and Wills. During your placement, you are fully integrated into one of our teams, working alongside experienced lawyers and support staff on real cases and projects. This exposure will help you develop practical legal skills, understand the day-to-day workings of a dynamic law firm, and gain insight into different areas of law. Our objective is to give you the knowledge and experience to build a solid foundation before your career in law truly kicks off. To support with your personal and professional development, we hold regular Lunch and Learn sessions. These informal sessions provide a valuable forum to discuss legal topics, explore career pathways, and receive guidance on the next steps in a legal career. They are designed to complement practical experience with structured learning, helping students build confidence and prepare for a successful future in law.
