Research Fellow In Metabolic Physiology

£33,045 - £38,026 p.a. pro rata

About the Role

Metabolic Health Hub Nottingham Trent Department of Biosciences:

Post-doctoral scientist in metabolic physiology

We are looking for a highly motivated post-doctoral scientist (PhD Level G) to support Nottingham Trent's new strategic investment in Metabolic Health in the School of Science and Technology. The successful applicant will join the recently launched Centre for Systems Health and Integrated Metabolic Research (SHiMR) within the Department of Biosciences. The PDRA will have experience in metabolic physiology and molecular biology. Experience in cellular metabolism and bioinformatics is desirable. Advanced training is available within the SHiMR Centre, where the post-holder will work in the state-of-the-art Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Centre (ISTeC) that houses two major and evolving and complementary strategic themes, Metabolic Health, and Neurophysiology with extensive expertise in cutting edge in vivo and in vitro metabolic phenotyping, as well as cell imaging and molecular techniques available across the Centre.
