Bookkeeper (Part-Time)
Job Location: Verwood, Dorset
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £15.00 per hour
Hours: 22 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9.00am - 3.00pm
We are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper on a part-time basis to work within a small office. You will be responsible for sales ledger, purchase ledger, banking, expenses, and general office administration.
Key duties will include:
1. Creating and sending out all sales invoices
2. Processing all purchase invoices & matching receipts to invoices
3. Checking banking daily and setting up regular payments
4. Sending out monthly statements, checking payment dates, and chasing overdue invoices
5. Dealing with employee expenses
6. Journal postings to reconcile accounts
7. Running a monthly trial balance
8. General administration to assist with office operations
Candidate requirements:
* Previous experience in purchase and sales ledger
* AAT Level 2 or equivalent qualification
