Job Description
As the Assistant Accountant, you will support accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple entities. You'll gain exposure to:
* Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Monthly bank reconciliations
* General ledger maintenance and journal preparation
* Month‑end and year‑end processing
* BAS/IAS and compliance requirements
* Fixed asset registers and depreciation
* Budgeting and forecasting support
* Trust accounting and building financials
* Working with internal stakeholders, including operations and property teams
* Process improvements and ad hoc accounting tasks
This is a high‑volume, fast‑paced role, particularly around month‑end, but you will be well supported by senior team members.
The Successful Applicant

Experience & Skills:
* 3-4 years in an accounting role (business services or property‑related experience ideal)
* Understanding of BAS, tax, and compliance processes
* Studying toward or interested in CA/CPA
* Strong Excel/Microsoft Office skills
* Exposure to ERPs such as Yardi or MYOB (highly regarded but not essential)
