An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join my client's team in their Brighton offices.
Role Overview
The role involves working within the Commercial Property & Development team. It is suitable for a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience in Commercial Property or Property Development. The client values the right attributes and attitude over specific PQE, making this role suitable for both NQ Solicitors and experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage a varied caseload of commercial property and development matters, including acquisitions, refinancing, drafting/negotiating leases, and development agreements.
2. Provide high-quality legal advice on issues such as planning, construction, and financing related to commercial property development.
3. Draft and negotiate legal documents like leases, sale and purchase agreements, overage agreements, promotion agreements, pre-emption agreements, and development contracts.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, agents, developers, and other third-party advisors.
5. Stay updated with changes in commercial property law and market developments to offer relevant legal advice.
6. Manage own caseload and assist senior team members on complex matters as needed.
