Overview
The role-holder will assist the Admissions Office in providing a supportive and efficient service to prospective parents and pupils.
The role-holder will be required to work 37.5 hours per week during term time between 8:00am and 4.30pm.
There will also be a requirement for the role-holder to work:
* an additional three weeks in the school holidays (one week during the October half term; one week during the Christmas holidays and one week at the end of the summer holidays).
* two Saturday open mornings a year (one in September and one in April).
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Process applications, generate letters and run reports through SIMS.
* Manage the ISEB Senior School and Invigilation Centre Portals. Upload applicant IDs, check access arrangements and collate results. Coordinate and organise running of ISEB examination days.
* Process acceptance documentation
* Answer daily email and telephone enquiries, responding in a timely manner to ensure that prospective parents receive relevant information about the School.
* Assist in the organisation of open mornings, weekday visitor mornings and offered places events.
* Assist in the organisation of 16+ examination day and 11+, 13+ & 16+ scholarship assessments.
* Assist in the organisation of induction events.
* Co-ordinate all general administration for the Admissions Office.
* Ensure adherence to the Admissions Policy.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons with whom you come into contact.
* Carry out other reasonable duties as instructed by the Registrar and commensurate with the role.

The School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions on a self-declaration form in advance of attending an interview (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
