Technical Product Specialist - Lighting Controls Milton Keynes Office Based (with occasional site visits) Full-time | Permanent £30,000 - £40,000 per annum Hours - 9.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday Are you curious by nature, technically minded, and eager to become an expert in smart lighting systems? We're looking for a Lighting Controls Technical Product Specialist to join a well-established manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a diverse lighting controls portfolio and become the go-to person for all things controls-related, from wireless systems to central management platforms. What You'll Be Doing Acting as the in-house expert for lighting controls systems and devices. Managing technical enquiries and ensuring system compatibility with lighting products. Troubleshooting issues and mitigating problems post-installation. Collaborating with sales teams and customers to define requirements and present solutions. Maintaining documentation and supporting production and installation processes. Building relationships with third-party controls partners to deliver innovative solutions.What We're Looking For Must-haves: Experience or knowledge of DALI lighting controls is essential. Ability to listen, understand problems, and apply product knowledge to solve them. Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset. Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning a product portfolio. Comfortable communicating across departments and with people at all levels. Office-based experience and familiarity with professional environments.Nice-to-haves: Knowledge of D4i, Bluetooth, and NLC systems. Experience using SolidWorks CAD software.
