Join Ashtead Technology in the role of Business Administrator, located at our Turriff Facility where you will support a wide range of business activities and contribute to delivering a top class-customer experience. What You’ll Be Doing: Coordinate annual planned and ad hoc facility maintenance programs Log and manage requests for facility and plant maintenance / repairs Liaise with 3rd parties for facilities and plant maintenance / repairs Work with Supply Chain Team to obtain quotes and place orders for parts and services, ensuring supplier and contractor vetting procedures are adhered to Maintain accurate maintenance records, including departmental and equipment registers Liaise with workshop departments and site handy person to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks Issue plant maintenance reminders and associated paperwork, and proactively communicate to mitigate potential issues Produce weekly KPI reports for the department manager Manage stock levels of office equipment including stationery and refreshments Coordinate hospitality for events, meetings, and training Assist with IT onboarding and offboarding (equipment and profiles) Maintain company noticeboards (hard copy and digital) Arrange rental of additional plant in line with operational requirements Provide reception support including answering and directing calls, sorting and processing mail, and welcoming visitors What experience you'll bring: Good understanding and experience in working with all Microsoft365 packages An administration background in a multi-disciplined environment Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate both written and verbally with management, colleagues, contractors, and various other external stakeholders Familiar with legislative requirements for heavy plant and machinery would be an advantage Familiar with CDM regulations would be an advantage Who we are: Established in 1985, Ashtead Technology is a leading provider of subsea equipment rental solutions, advanced underwater technologies, and support services to the global offshore energy sector.
