The day-to-day
As a QA Manager at Reward, you will oversee the entire quality assurance process in a fast-paced, agile environment. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing testing strategies, managing a team of test engineers and QA Analysts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes continuously.
The Role
The QA Manager develops and executes testing strategies across our teams, ensuring product quality and reliability. You will lead automation efforts supporting CICD, mentor your team, and work closely with other departments to deliver high-quality software solutions.
* Quality Assurance Leadership: Define and lead the overall test strategy, align with business goals, and develop tools and processes to meet quality objectives.
* Test Engineering Management: Lead automation framework development, design scalable test environments, and integrate testing into development workflows.
* Collaboration: Work with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to align testing with project requirements.
* Process Improvement: Continuously enhance testing methodologies and tools.
* Issue Management: Prioritize and manage testing issues, ensuring timely resolution.
* Reporting: Provide regular updates on testing progress and issues.
* Team Development: Mentor and support the professional growth of your team.
The Requirements
* Minimum of 7+ years in quality assurance, with at least 5 years in managerial roles overseeing QA Analysts and Test Engineering.
* Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., JIRA, TestMo).
* Deep understanding of QA principles, testing methodologies, and quality control procedures.
* Experience working in Agile environments.
* Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to buy/sell holiday days and bank days (dependent on tenure).
* Flexible hybrid working model (3 days in the office).
