PURPOSE STATEMENT
* Carry out production duties in line with requests from Shift Management assisting in achieving high quality, low cost manufacture, meeting service levels to satisfy customer’s requirements.
* Assist the business to maintain a safe working environment and protect all associates and guests.
* Ensure products manufactured are safe, legal and comply with customers quality standards.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / OUTCOMES
* Work in a safe manner to comply with statutory health and safety legislation and company policies.
* Operate and adhere to all key processes and procedures including CCPs, production activities and administration to ensure food safety standards are met.
* Adhere to company quality system, ensuring product manufactured is to the correct specification and meets customer quality requirements.
* Proactively manage issues around food safety and quality, ensuring they are escalated to shift management in a timely manner.
* Ensure all production requirements are met and line outputs are maximised to deliver plan attainment and efficiency targets. Be proficient in operation of line equipment, troubleshoot and resolve technical machine issues, and collaborate with shift management, engineering and sanitation to minimise lost time.
* Maintain minimum wastage of materials through effective working practices and process control.
* Ensure line cleaning meets food safety standards and minimises lost time; maintain a clean and tidy workplace.
* Complete all administration to meet legal requirements and maintain relevant systems (Traceability, Health and Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, ERP, etc.).
* Use D365 effectively, managing data collation in an efficient way.
* Communicate and escalade issues to Shift management promptly and conduct effective shift handovers.
* Act as a leading member of the production team, ensuring efficient line operations and maintaining team morale.
* Pursue self‑development opportunities and progress when they arise.
* Engage in problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
* Support training and CI initiatives for the team.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE – CRITICAL
* Previous Production Line experience.
* Managing within quality standards ensuring products meet specifications and customers’ requirements.
* Support the Shift Management Team in efficient production line operations.
* Problem solving and CI skills.
* Proactive and solution‑based focused.
* Manual dexterity.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
* Clear communication (oral & written) in English; understand and follow health and safety procedures.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE – DESIRABLE
* Food Manufacturing / FMCG experience.
* Experience working in a TPM environment.
* Continuous Improvement experience.
* Experience with food safety.
* Experience in a safety‑critical environment.
