Responsibilities
* Undertaking in a competent safe manner, a range of tasks to the required standards, frequencies and schedules & on a planned and ad hoc basis within the built environment.
* To pay due regard & observe all Health and Safety procedures including minimal handling regulations the appropriate use of PPE and equipment, COSHH Regulations, HTM's.
* Maintain a clean safe & tidy working environment at all times.
* Ensuring the following services/duties are provided which will include but not be limited to: Environmental Services (Housekeeping Cleaning).
* Provide the services described below to a high standard and to take pride in the quality of their work understanding that all staff within the organization have a role to enhance patient care.
* To develop and maintain good working relationships with service users, patients, visitors, staff and managers as well as external agencies providing services to the Trust.
* Communicate and exemplar the Trust behaviour standards which promote the organization, maintain standards, being professional compassionate and caring at all times.
* Maintain a high standard of personal dress/uniform, conduct in keeping with the nature of your duties, ensuring that the duties carried out will reflect to the credit of the department and Trust.
* Attend statutory training, which will include but not be limited to Manual Handling, Infection Prevention Control, Fire and Health & Safety, Information Governance, Equality & Diversity and all other training that is required as part of your job role.
