Job Title: Freight Pricing Relationship Coordinator
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Incentives: Biannual performance bonuses (2) + lifetime commission structure
Duties:
* Prepare and issue spot rates, tenders, and pricing proposals for customers and internal teams.
* Negotiate rates with airlines, shipping lines, and road freight providers to secure the most competitive options.
* Analyse pricing structures and profitability, ensuring margins are maintained in line with business targets.
* Support sales teams with pricing input for RFQs, tenders, and customer proposals.
* Work closely with overseas partners and agents to source rates and solutions across global trade lanes.
* Maintain up-to-date tariffs, surcharges, and carrier contracts in line with market changes.
* Provide market insights and competitor analysis to support commercial decision-making.
* Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate costings and smooth handover from pricing to execution.
Ideal Candidate:
* 2-3 years experience in freight forwarding, preferably within pricing, tendering, or procurement.
* Strong knowledge of air, sea, and road freight operations and rate structures.
* Negotiation and supplier management experience with carriers, agents, and 3PLs.
