Pulse has recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist providers of healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Dietitian to provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This position is based in Manchester, which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As a Lead Dietitian, you will oversee the day-to-day implementation of the Dietetic service, providing high-quality clinical management to adult oncology patients.
Your main responsibilities as a Lead Dietitian:
* Lead the clinical team, ensuring high standards of care
* Identify and contribute to future improvements and business cases
* Manage staffing requirements and skill mix
* Work within financial targets, aiming to grow the service
* Oversee quality management, including audits
* Provide specialized training to colleague groups
* Manage development, training, and retention of staff
What we are looking for in a Lead Dietitian:
* Registered with the HCPC
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics
* Clinical experience in dietetic services, with a focus on oncology
* Leadership experience managing a team
* Evidence of research in a specialized area
* Member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA)
