Job Description

Housekeeping Attendant

You are at the heart of the hotel!
As a Housekeeping Attendant at ibis Birmingham Bordesley Circus, you will take ownership of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment. You will play a vital role in creating a positive and memorable stay for every guest.

What you will be doing:

4. Clean and service all assigned guest rooms and public areas to required brand standards
5. Replenish amenities, linen and housekeeping supplies
6. Respond promptly and politely to guest requests
7. Take responsibility for guest privacy and belongings while delivering excellent service
8. Report maintenance issues, damages or lost property to supervisors
9. Assist with laundry duties, including washing, folding and distribution of linen

Qualifications and Skills:

10. Strong attention to detail with pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards
11. Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently to deadlines
12. Physical capability to stand, move, bend and lift throughout shifts
13. Two years' previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
14. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:
Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset
Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
Excellent organizational skills and time management
