The Role
As Communications & Marketing Assistant, you'll support the day-to-day running of Truthpaste's communications, helping to connect our community, share our story, and keep our brand voice consistent across every platform.
You'll help manage customer interactions, coordinate with affiliates and press, and assist in delivering campaigns that raise awareness and inspire engagement. It's a creative, varied role for someone who loves words, ideas, and people — and wants to grow within a purpose-driven brand.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
* Support the development and scheduling of marketing campaigns across social, email, and web.
* Write or proof short-form copy for social posts, newsletters, and web content.
* Help coordinate collaborations, influencer campaigns, and product launches.
* Liaise with press and partners for samples, features, and outreach.
* Collect and report on campaign engagement and feedback to guide future marketing.
Community Engagement
* Manage and respond to social media comments, DMs, and messages in the Truthpaste tone of voice.
* Support affiliate and influencer relationships — ensuring they have assets, briefs, and brand information.
* Build relationships within our online community to nurture advocacy and loyalty.
* Gather customer and creator feedback to share with the wider team.
Customer Experience
* Use Shopify, Gorgias, and Recharge to help manage customer queries, orders, or subscriptions.
* Monitor recurring questions and suggest improvements to FAQs and website content.
About You
* Confident communicator with excellent written English and strong attention to detail.
* Creative thinker with an interest in sustainability, health, and science-backed natural products.
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
* Tech-savvy and quick to pick up tools (Shopify, Gorgias, Google Workspace, Canva, social media platforms).
* Enjoys working collaboratively in a small, dynamic team where every idea counts.
