Our client are a well established, international, manufacturing company who are currently expanding worldwide. They are now seeking a qualified accountant to join them in a high profile role. Duties will include:-
1. Execute month-end close, including journals, variance analysis, and management accounts
2. Conduct cost and expense analysis to support cost control and efficiency improvements
3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
4. Present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
5. Support payroll processing, including HMRC submissions
6. Maintain the fixed asset register
7. Prepare and submit VAT returns
8. Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and act as primary contact for clients on record-keeping
9. Assist in statutory accounts preparation
10. Perform balance sheet reconciliations
11. Support internal and external audits
12. Coordinate with UK departments and overseas headquarters on management reporting
13. Develop analytical reports to identify variances, trends, and improvement opportunities
14. Contribute to forecasting and budget preparation
Ideally you will be qualified (in industry or practice) and be looking to develop your career and progress to taking ownership of a finance function.
