Mechanical Supervisor – Thames Water Sewerage Treatment Plants (Twickenham)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to work on Thames Water sewaage treatment plant based in Twickenham. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor looking for long-term, stable work on a 5-year framework, offering job security, continuity, and consistent earnings.
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be site-based 5 days per week, overseeing mechanical installation, maintenance, and refurbishment works within live water and wastewater environments. This role is ideal for a Mechanical Supervisor with a strong mechanical background who values longevity and stability.
As a Mechanical Supervisor, your duties will include:
1. Supervising mechanical works on Thames Water sewerage treatment plants
2. Day-to-day site management as a Mechanical Supervisor
3. Coordinating mechanical labour, materials, and plant
4. Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
5. Leading and managing mechanical operatives and subcontractors
6. Working closely with project and site management teams
7. Enforcing high health & safety standards at all times
Requirements – Mechanical Supervisor
To be successful in this Mechanical Supervisor role, you must have:
8. Valid CSCS card
9. SSSTS or SMSTS certification
10. A Mechanical Apprenticeship or NVQ (minimum requirement)
11. Proven experience working as a Mechanical Supervisor
12. Background in utilities, water/wastewater, or heavy engineering environments
13. Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Location & Working Pattern
14. Based on site in Twickenham
15. 5 days per week on site
16. 6 month rolling contract
17. Working on live Thames Water sewage treatment plants
Rate & Contract Details – Mechanical Supervisor
18. £400 – £500 per day
19. Inside IR35
20. Long-term contract on a secured 5-year framework
