Technical Manager – Chemical, COMAH, Quality
We are looking for an ambitious technical professional with a strong background in chemical manufacturing. The successful candidate will develop from Technical Manager into Technical Director in the medium term. The role offers a facilitated handover under the guidance of the current Technical Director before retirement.
Salary
BASIC SALARY: up to £60,000, until assuming the Technical Director role.

Job Description
The Technical Director is currently responsible for a broad range of areas. As the Technical Manager you will take over responsibilities in alignment with your technical background and develop further under mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
* QHSE – including GMP / VMD / ISO / H&S
* COMAH
* QP (Quality and Process)
* Laboratory / regulatory oversight
* Technical leadership for manufacturing
* New Product Development (NPD)
* Product registration
* Product pricing
* Process route advice
* Pre‑sales technical input
* After‑sales / customer support
Your Background
* Degree in Chemistry or equivalent
* Experience in chemical manufacturing
* Experience leading a technical team or equivalent
* Experience in formulation development (NPD), Quality Control, regulatory and compliance
* COMAH experience preferred; training will be provided as required for Upper Tier COMAH
