Construction Manager
This morning one of my clients won 3 major projects that start very quickly, they do not have the resource internally to fill the Construction Manager requirements that are needed. This means I need to find people fairly quickly.
The client is an industry leader in the interiors world and having the opportunity to work for them doesn't come too often so this is a good opportunity. They're looking for Construction Managers to have the ability to take control of numerous floors at once and taken them from CAT A through to CAT B and handover. The projects value between £35m and £100m.
Requirements for Construction Manager
* SMSTS
* CSCS
* First Aid
* Knowledge of commercial fit out
Responsibilities for the Construction Manager
1. Attending and contributing in contractor prestart meetings.
2. Attending and contributing in design team meetings.
3. Chairing weekly sub-contractor progress meetings, taking and issuing meeting minutes.
4. Attending safe starts.
5. Approving RAMS.
6. Attending DABS and contributing to the meeting, discussing coordination with other trades. If necessary taking the meeting, issuing the DABS report to all other team members.
7. Enforcing H&S on site.
8. Identifying potential problems, offering buildability solutions.
9. Someone who is tech savvy.
