We have a number of roles available across Digital including within Working Age Services, Digital Channels, Debt, Comms and Collaboration, Cross Boundary teams and Data Insights & Analytics.
You’ll works across the full product delivery lifecycle, bringing together business needs and technical capabilities to define solutions that deliver real value. It requires strong experience in a range of business analysis tools and techniques within an Agile environment, including producing high quality requirements using recognised industry standards. The role also involves shaping and communicating user stories and acceptance criteria effectively.
This opportunity offers ongoing professional development through close working with Senior and Lead Business Analysts and support from a wider community of practice. There will also be opportunities to develop leadership, coaching and management skills through responsibility for supporting Apprentice or Associate Business Analysts when required.
As a Business Analyst, you will:
* Be working within a transformational multi-disciplinary team utilising agile methodologies.
* Communicate effectively across both technical and business stakeholders, ensuring the understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria is aligned.
* Translate business problems and user needs into backlogs of detailed requirements to deliver value and great outcomes for our users OR for the solution that align to best practice.
* Advise the Product Manager in agreeing the suitable mix of epics, features & stories for each sprint, as well as active contribution towards prioritisation activities.
* Conduct research and analysis to understand business processes and activities that impact and that are impacted by the product or service. Select the appropriate best practice techniques to model business processes, existing and new, to achieve consensus.
* Lead workshops, interviews, and other investigation techniques to effectively understand the business problems, business needs and user needs.
* Be responsible for improving your own knowledge of Business Analysis and Agile principles, methods, tools and techniques.
* Play an active role within the BA community, coaching and supporting other members of the community.
