Introduction
Indaver leads the field in sustainable waste management in Europe. We deliver high-quality, cost-effective services in the municipal, industrial and specialist hazardous waste markets. We currently offer Total Waste Management and Waste-to-Energy solutions in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Portugal, the UK and Ireland.
Currently, in Essex, Indaver is constructing the, which will process circa ,t of residual waste per annum and produce electricity to power in the region of, 60, homes. Indaver is now hiring 65 specialist personnel to maintain and operate this large scale process plant.
We now require a Management Accountant to prepare the Monthly Reporting, Annual Budgets and Quarterly Outlooks for the Rivenhall plant. They will take a lead role in the development of financial models and business plans to support the Business Development Unit in providing future growth. There will also be additional ad hoc financial reporting and work as directed from time to time.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Monthly Management Accounts Preparation for Rivenhall
2. Annual Budget and Quarterly Outlooks for Rivenhall
3. Carry out accounting processes in existing systems and in SAP/SAP4Hana
4. Set up / amend procedures to align with the SAP/SAP4Hana system
5. Detailed Analysis of results
6. Weekly and Monthly settlements and reconciliations
7. Support the business development unit by preparing financial models in line with Group requirements for new projects
8. Engage pro-actively with the business development unit to ensure correct and most up-to-date data
Qualifications and experience required
9. Graduate level from a recognised college/university
10. Minimum IATI and/or CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualification
11. Part-qualified CIMA / Part-Qualified ACCA considered with extensive and proven experience (5 years+)
12. 2 - 5 years post-qualification experience in a business/commercial environment, preferably with a multinational company.
13. Monthly closing processes and reporting
14. Experience in analytical reviews
15. Knowledge and experience in MS Office with excellent Excel skills
16. Experience with SAP/SAP4Hana Accounting systems would be beneficial
17. UK driving licence and own transport required (due to the location of Rivenhall site)
18. It is essential to be eligible to work full-time in the UK as no visa sponsorship is available for this vacancy.
