Requirements:
1. Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
2. 2 recent professional references
3. Committed, flexible, and enthusiastic
4. Strong interpersonal skills
5. Previous experience
Responsibilities:
6. Implementing the school's safeguarding policy and procedures
7. Encourage good practice by promoting and championing the safeguarding policy and procedures
8. Respond appropriately to disclosures or concerns which relate to the well-being of a child or young person
9. Communicate and interact effectively with adults children and young people
10. Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date documentation on all cases of safeguarding and child protection
11. Maintain confidentiality of pupil information
12. Ensure the school's designated safeguarding lead teacher is regularly updated regarding all issues related to the safeguarding of individual children and young people
13. Liaise with school staff in initiating multi-agency referrals for children and young people
14. Support the care of children and young people where their living arrangements are at risk of breakdown
