Nursery Assistant

Salary: Up to £650 per week

As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the nursery. You will help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to make a positive contribution to their early learning experiences.
Responsibilities
* Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities and educational programs for children in Bristol
* Support daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play, as part of the nursery's activities
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for the children
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
* Observe and report on children's progress and developmental needs
* Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
Requirements
* Previous experience working with young children is preferred
* Relevant childcare qualifications or working towards one (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare)
* A genuine passion for early childhood education
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
