Service Care Solutions are working in partnership with a National Social Care Service who are looking to recruit a Non-medical Prescriber to join their team. Please find a description of the role below.
Role: Non-medical Prescriber
Location: Manchester
Salary: £43.84 - £48.18 per hour (PAYE inc.) / £50 - £55 per hour (umbrella/ltd)
Contract: 3 months
Working: On-site (37.5 hours per week)
Role Overview:
* Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care for individuals accessing treatment services.
* Conduct clinical assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
* Assess suitability for inpatient alcohol and opioid detoxification.
* Review and manage service users’ treatment plans proactively.
* Initiate and adjust prescriptions for opioid/alcohol substitute treatments and related medications.
* Lead the prescribing clinic and act as a key contact for prescribing queries.
* Provide cover for the Homeless Team Non-Medical Prescriber when required.
* Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber.
* Minimum one year’s recent experience in substance misuse treatment.
* Strong knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion.
* Skilled in assessment, recovery planning and report writing.
* Confident verbal and written communication skills.
* Full driving licence and ability to travel between services as needed.
