This is a provisional job plan and will be mutually agreed with the Integrated clinical services.
On occasion and as patterns of service provision evolve and change, further rescheduling of clinical sessions may take place following negotiation with the service and clinical director.

1. •GMC registration
Qualifications
Essential criteria
2. •MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
3. •Be eligible to work in the UK
Desirable criteria
4. •Full MRCP (UK) or full MRCPCH at the time of application
5. •Intercalated BSc or equivalent
Knowledge and Expertise
Essential criteria
6. •Is up to date and fit to practise safely.
7. •Evidence of experience in adult medicine/paediatric medicine
8. •Proven experience in clinical research
Desirable criteria
9. •Experience of managing patients with EDS and/or inherited connective tissue conditions
Teaching
Essential criteria
10. •Experience of teaching and training undergraduates, postgraduates and junior medical staff
Desirable criteria
11. •Evidence of ongoing interest and achievement in research
Management and Audit
Essential criteria
12. •Understanding the principles of clinical governance and its implications
13. •Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
14. •Ability to organise research and work within research governance procedures
15. •Ability to plan strategically and to exercise sound judgements when faced with conflicting pressures.
