Trainee Litigation Paralegal
A highly regarded specialist litigation firm is seeking a Trainee Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-achieving graduate to begin their career as a Trainee Litigation Paralegal, gaining exposure to high-quality, complex dispute work within a modern and forward-thinking environment.
As a Trainee Litigation Paralegal, you will support senior solicitors and partners across a broad range of matters, including commercial litigation, property disputes, construction matters, employment, and debt recovery. Over time, the Trainee Litigation Paralegal will progress to managing their own caseload under supervision, with structured training and ongoing mentorship.
The successful Trainee Litigation Paralegal will be involved in:
* Opening and closing files
* Conducting AML and client due diligence checks
* Drafting legal documents and correspondence
* Preparing bundles and supporting case progression
* Attending client meetings and handling enquiries
* Undertaking legal research
About you:
* A strong academic background is essential, including a 2:1 or above (ideally a First-Class degree) and excellent A-Level results (A/A*)
* Ideally progressing towards, or having completed, further legal qualifications (e.g. SQE or Masters)
* A genuine interest in litigation and dispute resolution
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Confident IT skills within a modern legal environment
* Strong ties to the Brighton/Sussex area
