Day to day duties
As an FLT Driver your duties will involve, but not be limited to:
* Driving/Operating a Reach Truck
* Loading and unloading trucks and containers using equipment provided in a safe and efficient manner
* Order picking
* Handball duties and loading containers
* Moving and transporting stock into correct areas of the warehouse
* Organising, wrapping and securing stock ready for delivery
* Stacking and stowing pallets away
* Always adhering to health and safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment
* Clearing work area of any debris and keeping traffic routes clear of obstructions
* Reporting faulty equipment, damage to racks and or other safety hazards to the supervisor
Essential Skills
The following skills are essential for this role:
* Valid Reach Truck Licence
* Good Knowledge and understanding of health and safety
* Punctuality and good time keeping skills
* Must be able to read and speak a certain level of English
* Good spatial awareness
Desirable Experience
* Experience working within a warehouse environment would be beneficial
Training
* Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
