About the role:
We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and well-organised person to join our Finance Department as Accounts Receivable. You will play an important role in ensuring that student accounts are managed accurately and responsibly. You'll handle a range of credit control and financial administration tasks, always maintaining clarity, professionalism, efficiency and excellent communication.
The ideal candidate must be/have:
* Has excellent written and spoken English.
* Communicates clearly, confidently, and warmly—especially when discussing payments.
* Manages time and workload efficiently.
* Is confident using Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
* Has strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
* Brings a positive, respectful attitude when interacting with students.
* Ideally has experience in credit control, finance administration, or working within an education or student-facing environment.
Duties will include:
* Managing student and customer accounts, ensuring payments are up to date.
* Contacting students regarding overdue balances and following up appropriately.
* Setting up, monitoring and managing payment plans.
* Processing payments and updating and maintaining financial records accurately.
* Investigating and resolving account queries in a clear and supportive manner.
* Working closely with the Student Support teams to ensure accurate account information.
* Preparing reports and maintaining documentation in line with financial procedures.
* Supporting the Finance Department with general administration when required.
