Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Development Technologist to join the R&D department of a company in Derbyshire.
Responsibilities
* Design and run experiments.
* Apply expertise in colour theory, dyeing techniques, and colourfastness to development company products.
* Evaluate raw materials for their properties and how they react in processes.
* Support production to implement new and re-developed processes and solve technical problems on the plant.
* Drive R&D projects from the laboratory through to pilot plant.
Qualifications
* A degree in Chemistry and experience in the research & development of textiles or materials.
* Experience in dyeing techniques and ideally colourfastness, along with experience in scale-up and manufacturing.
