We are looking for an individual to temporarily lead Ivybridge Community Rehabilitation Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a competent team to deliver interventions across a number of pathways.
The team supports Discharge Pathways, Urgent Community Response, Intermediate Care, as well as routine rehabilitation work.
The team comprises Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Support Workers. They work in an integrated way with other health and social care colleagues across the locality.
Main duties of the job
The successful individual will be expected to support the day-to-day working of the team.
Leading triage, supporting complex clinical discussions, and holding a clinical caseload.
The individual will also support a broad range of managerial activities such as recruitment, supervision, and budget management.

Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
* HCPC Registration
* Management training
* Evidence of postgraduate education in rehabilitation to an advanced level
* Clinical educator
* MSC
* Member of relevant special interest group
Experience
* Relevant and substantial postgraduate experience
* Experience at a senior level in a clinical specialty
* Autonomous practitioner with experience managing a complex caseload
* Portfolio of evidence in CPD
* Experience teaching and supervising junior staff/students
* Experience MDT working and teaching other professions
* Specialist experience in elderly rehab, in community and inpatient settings
* Evidence of involvement in audit and research
* Management experience
