The successful Chemistry Teacher will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the wonders of the molecular world and chemical reactions. Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging Chemistry Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE Chemistry examinations, ensuring a strong understanding of key concepts. Foster a stimulating learning environment where students can explore and appreciate the relevance of chemistry. Assess and monitor student progress in chemistry, providing clear and constructive feedback as a Chemistry Teacher. Contribute to the evolution of the chemistry curriculum and the creation of engaging resources. Encourage student participation in practical experiments and scientific inquiry within chemistry. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Chemistry or Science with a strong chemistry background. Demonstrated experience in teaching Chemistry at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4). A comprehensive understanding of chemical principles and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex ideas clearly and engagingly as a Chemistry Teacher.
