Our client who is the UK’s largest and leading independent systems integrator of Building Energy Management Systems is looking for an experienced Building Management Systems (BMS) Support Engineer who is looking to further their career in the BMS industry?
To be considered for this role, you must be based in the MIdlands and have experience of working within the building controls industry, as well as have an understanding of mechanical plant. You will also have
* Familiarity with Trend & Schneider and any experience with either Siemens, Tridium, Schneider EcoStruxure, would be of huge advantage, but not essential
* Proven diagnostic skills and be able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.
* Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Possess a full UK driving licence and have full right to work in the UK
* Be based in and around the Midlands and also be required to be on call for emergency or breakdown purposes, on a rota basis.
As an experienced BMS Support Engineer who will cover the midlands region for the business you will be tasked with
* Undertaking preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems in accordance with the service level agreement between the client and their customers.
* Carrying out small repairs and remedial works
* Provide routine inspections of BMS equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
* Respond to customer service calls in the event of a system failure(s).
* Document service activities, including maintenance tasks, repairs, and client interactions.
