The Role
As a Board Director reporting to the Managing Director, as the CTO you will lead a global team of 100+ across the UK, India, Australia, and the US. Your mission is to oversee sales, product development, implementations, service desk, and account management, ensuring excellence at every step.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire cross-functional teams
* Provide strategic vision and leadership, aligning with business objectives and market trends
* Develop and execute strategies to drive growth in revenue, profitability, and market share
* Inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
* Manage the end-to-end client lifecycle, from sales to ongoing account management
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and partners
* Scale operations and ensure service excellence for our clients
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and data security standards
* Manage financial performance, budgeting, and resource allocation
* Lead product development and innovation efforts
* Promote a positive and inclusive work environment
Experience and Capabilities
* Proven track record in leading and growing software businesses
* Exceptional leadership and client relationship skills
* Experience in product development, service delivery, and team building
* Senior leadership experience with multi-site global teams
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets
* Strong background in modern software development principles & best practices
* Ability to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
* Previous experience of developing and delivering enterprise level SaaS, CRM or Billing solutions is required
* Strong experience of delivering SaaS solutions with complex integrations is also required
* Experience of working within the utilities sector is also highly desirable
