Charity Manager Location: Newport, Shropshire Hours: 37 hours per week (with occasional evening and weekend working) Salary: £33,699 – £35,412 Contract: Permanent Are you an inspiring, community-minded leader with a passion for supporting young people and building inclusive community spaces? We are seeking a Charity Manager to lead the day-to-day and strategic operation of our community building in Newport, Shropshire. Our charity exists to provide opportunities to address the educational, developmental, and leisure needs of young people and the wider community. Central to this is an indoor meeting space and a volunteer-led café that provides work experience opportunities. This is a varied and rewarding role combining operational management, youth work, volunteer leadership, café management, marketing and promotion, and community development. You will oversee the safe and effective management of the building, lead our youth club and training programmes for secondary school pupils, manage staff and volunteers, prepare reports for trustees and committees, and develop a vibrant programme of community events. The role will require occasional evening and weekend working, including attendance at quarterly evening committee meetings and community events.
